Kristen Bell’s new satirical thriller, which also manages not to be a complete parody, on Netflix takes viewers quite a ride, and I’m not just talking about the long name AF. The limited series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is full of shocking twists, mystery and drama. However, there is a completely different component that some fans have somewhat shocking experiences with. With that, Bell got a great response after a fan shared a super awkward moment after watching an sx scene featured on the show.
We already know that Kristen Bell doesn’t really have a problem getting laid on camera. And it’s one of his sex scenes in The Woman in the House Across the Street… (the series wins Netflix’s most ridiculously long title award) that has a fan in a situation one bit weird. After tweeting that he was stuck between his mother and his girlfriend during a scene where Bell was “bagging” himself, the star responded with humor. Check out his Tweet below:
If I didn’t know better, I’d almost think the actress isn’t sorry at all. In fact, it seems that the unfortunate situation the fan found herself in while watching her new Netflix series is a source of humor for her. I imagine putting all that work into a series so that one of your scenes is the source of some serious discomfort pays off quite well.
I’ve seen my fair share of NSFW sex scenes, and there’s nothing quite like a particularly racy scene popping up on your screen while you’re surrounded by your family. It can be annoying for sure, especially when you’re not expecting it, but that’s the risk you take when checking out a new release for the first time in a mixed company. The time of family ties has changed over the years, that’s for sure.
It certainly doesn’t help the discomfort factor that Kristen Bell’s new series has quite a presence. The series is truly full of unexpected scenes and twists, so much so that Bell wouldn’t even spoil it for her hubby before the official release. There are a number of NSFW dream sequences, and sometimes you can’t quite tell which is real. I suspect, however, that the scene in question here is a particularly long scene where Bell puts her on her kitchen counter with someone who literally just threatened her with a knife, which I certainly wouldn’t like to watch with the people who gave birth to me.
