Golladay began his college career in 2012 at North Dakota. He had 30 catches for 429 yards and a touchdown as a freshman. He had a breakout year as a sophomore in 2013, catching 69 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns. On December 23, 2016, it was announced that Golladay had accepted his invitation to play in the 2017 East-West Shrine Game, but would not be able to participate due to an elbow injury suffered during Senior Bowl practice.
