Kate Winslet says her 15-year-old daughter was ‘extremely jealous’ of her sex scenes with Liam Hemsworth
Lock lips with Liam Hemsworth? Kate Winslet has surely had worse days at the office.
The 40-year-old Oscar-winning actress engages in very steady scenes with the 25-year-old actor in their new film, The Dressmaker, which is set in the 1950s and filmed in the Australian Outback. Unsurprisingly, Winslet’s 15-year-old daughter Mia had a strong reaction to her mother’s latest on-screen love interest.
“When I told my daughter I was shooting the scene that day, she sputtered…I thought it was jealousy,” Winslet confessed on The One Show. the BBC on Wednesday.

“I felt pretty bad for Liam,” the actress added. “He’s a lovely guy, but I couldn’t help but laugh.”
In a separate interview with This Morning on Thursday, Winslet continued to praise her beautiful co-star.
“Liam is a lovely, lovely guy, a lot is done about his looks and he’s physically extremely handsome, but he’s a fabulous guy and he was really up for having fun with the rest of us,” he said. she declared. “But my daughter, Mia, was extremely jealous, as were all of her friends.”
Last month, Winslet proudly celebrated its 40th anniversary. “I want to celebrate who I am, what I’ve learned, how hard I’ve worked and how much I still have in me,” she told Gotham Magazine in the cover story of this month, first revealed by ET.
And despite being 15 years older than Hemsworth, Winslet marveled at how the pair resemble each other on-screen in an interview with The Daily Mail.
“When he came on set, I remember thinking, ‘Does that show we’re different ages?’ and on screen it really isn’t,” she said. Moments later she joked, “Either I look good or he looks really old !”
