Fans were intrigued to know about Jerry Blavat’s disease, called myasthenia gravis, which he battled for a long time.
At the age of 82, he passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, in hospice at Jefferson-Methodist Hospital.
Blavatt is survived by four daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his longtime partner Keely Stahl.

He also added that he reluctantly followed the advice of his medical staff to postpone all performances until he was strong enough to return.
However, it was later reported that Blavat passed away due to complications from myasthenia gravis.
