This is all you need to know about Jalang’o, also known as Felix Odiwour, a Kenyan comedian, radio and television presenter, actor and event manager. Nicknamed Jalas, he is also the CEO of Arena media. Odiwour came to the attention of many portraying Jalang’o’s character in Citizen TV, Papa Shirandula.
Bitch’o Early Life
The multi-talented media personality was born and raised in Homa Bay County. From a very humble background, Jalang’o’s parents were just indigenous farmers who would work hard every day to put food on the table. In the worst of times, some of the basic needs were hard to come by and this made Jalang’o work hard and he became the transformer he is today in his family. Jalang’o went to Homa Bay Lake Elementary School where he walked miles every morning and evening. To cover school schedules, Jalang’o would wake up very early in the morning and walk the entire distance to be in class on time.
After his primary education, Jalango joined Maseno National School in Kisumu Prefecture. Despite his good grades and performance, in the O-level exams, his father could not pay the secondary education tuition. This forced his father to organize a fundraiser to fund his high school studies. This worked when friends and relatives came to his rescue and he was able to continue his education.
Jalang’o Career
Jalang’o made his career debut as a radio station on Kiss FM in late 2008. In 2012, he joined Radio Maisha. In 2017 he left Radio Maisha and joined Hot 96 FM in a position he held for a year until 2018 before moving to Radio Milele. Jalang’o returned to the spot where he began his radio career on Kiss 100 radio in July 2020, as a morning presenter with Caroline Mutuko. He is currently the host of the Kiss 100 morning show with Kamene Goro.
The media personality also has a youtube online channel where he hosts and interviews other media personalities as well as updates throughout Kenya and Africa as a whole.

Jalang’o is married to his wife Amina Chao. The couple was walking down the aisle at a private traditional wedding attended by hundreds of friends, family members and other celebrities.
