Ivory Hecker is an American journalist who has owned Ivory Media LLC since August 2021. She covers the stories that matter most to people who value their individual freedom, free from corporate tyranny and special interests.
Hecker previously worked for Fox Television as a reporter and anchor from September 2017 to August 2021. She worked for KRIV-TV, a Fox-owned television station in Houston, Texas, as a weekend general assignment reporter and supplemental presenter.
Ivory grew up in Hayward, California. Hayward Middle School it was her alma mater. At a young age he developed a penchant for public speaking and radio journalism. This led her to Syracuse University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. Hecker was also honored by the Society of Professional Journalists with a regional Award of Excellence for a sports article she covered. She began her journalism career working as a campus reporter for Citrus TV.
Ivory was also selected for a NYSBA-sponsored internship at WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York. He worked as a reporter for KBJR-TV in Duluth, Minnesota, during the summers while still in college. Ivory previously worked as an intern at KABC-TV in Los Angeles and Time Warner’s 24-hour news channel YNN Syracuse.

Ivory also worked for KARE, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, as a reporter and anchor. He covered many breaking national news stories live from the scene, including the death of Prince, the police shootings of Jamar Clark and Philando Castile, and the protests and riots that followed. Hecker also served as an investigative reporter for WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky. He worked as a reporter at WACH in Columbia before joining WLEX, where he covered the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
