Giovanni Ribisi is an American actor who is famous for his roles in television series such as Sneaky Pete, Private Ryan, Avatar, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Lost in Translation and Ted, among other films. He also had recurring roles on TV series such as The Wonder Years, My Name is Earl and On the Verge. Most recently, he was cast as Joe Colombo in the 2020 miniseries The Offer.
Born in Los Angeles, he studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse School of Acting. After finishing his studies, he started his acting career in 1985 with “Highway to Heaven” and went on to work for television in “The New Leave It to Beaver”, “Married with Children” and “My Two Dads”.
Apart from movies, he has also acted in music videos, and video games. Appeared on Keanein’s 2006 song ‘Crystal Ball’ and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion’s ‘Talk About Blues’. Additionally, he has been featured in video games such as Call of Duty as Pvt. Elder and James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game.
