Gabisile Tshabalala (born June 20, 1990) is a well-known South African actress and television personality. Her role in the TV drama Hola Mpinji made her popular.

Gabisile was raised in Soshanguve, Pretoria by her grandparents. When she was in elementary school, her mother remarried. Although she is a shy girl, she says her outgoing stepfather inspired her to come out of her shell and that’s how she started to develop her self-confidence. Gabisile Tshabalala doesn’t hate her stepfather because he was the one who helped her gain confidence after being labeled a shy person.

Gabisile disliked going to school in high school and instead preferred to indulge in extracurricular sports such as sports, dancing, and cheerleading. Her days were spent either playing with Urram, her singing night, or learning to play the piano. She avoided going to school every day in matriculation and only went to class to take assessments or exams and apply assignments. His mother, meanwhile, recognized his creativity and passion for the arts.

She studied at ATS Helicopters to train as a flight attendant and took acting lessons at the State Theater in Pretoria. Despite her initial desire to be a flight attendant, she instead decided to take her mother’s advice to pursue a career as a pilot.

Gabisile saw an advertisement for auditions for the SABC youth drama series Hola Mpintshi and went to the auditions, where she landed the role of Pinkie, the lead character, after two callbacks.

Intersexions, an SABC 1 TV drama series, gave her her big break. The show opened many doors for her and she starred in a number of SABC productions including Fallen, Single Guys, Intersexions and Generations, as well as two years on e.tv’s soapie Scandal!
