Eddie Villanueva is a Filipino evangelist and president-founder of Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide (JILCW), one of the largest Christ-centered, Bible-based, fully evangelical churches in the world.

Previously, Villanueva was a communist-atheist, progressive protester and member of parliament on the street. He was jailed twice for fighting alongside the downtrodden for their rights against land-grabbing syndicates under martial law.

Villanueva is also the founder of the Philippine Jesus Movement (PJM), which includes more than 40 bishops from various Christian churches across the country. In the 2004 and 2010 Philippines, Villanueva ran for president and senator in the 2013 Philippine midterm elections, both as the flag bearer of the Bangon Pilipinas Party.

Villanueva is a radio-television evangelist owned by ZOE Broadcasting Network, a commercial television and radio station owned by VHF Channel 11 and UHF Channel 33 (Light TV). He is also the owner and founder of Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation, Inc. (JILCF) in Bocaue, Bulacan, a Christian school where his wife, Adoracion Villanueva, is the school president.
