Knobloch attended and graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Composition. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles where she learned how to code, build websites and got a job as a graphic designer.
After having her first child, she quit her job and started working as a life coach and yoga teacher in 2006. This eventually led to her own newsletter and then a blog where she wrote about ways to balance work and life, the home and children.
