Biography Brian Todd
Brian Todd is a veteran American journalist currently serving as a Washington-based correspondent for CNN. DC Provides reports on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. In particular, it has contributed to the complete coverage of the “America Votes 2008” network.
Brian has also been featured in a number of breaking news items, including the Lewis “Scooter” Libby test, Hurricane Katrina, the Dubai Harbor controversy and the Sago mine disaster. In addition, he has delivered in-depth reports on terrorism, politics and national security, and numerous series.
The CNN veteran holds a degree in communications from the University of Miami. He served the station for over two decades, having joined the station in 1987 as a copywriter for morning programming. Immediately after, he took over the production responsibilities in the field and for long-term exhibitions.
From 1989 to 1993, Brian served as a presenter and reporter for the CNN Newsroom, a high school and high school news program. He later became a news producer based in Washington, DC, in 1993 and then an editor at Larry King Live in 1997.
In 2000, Todd became the lead producer of Wolf Blitzer Reports, the forerunner of The Situation Room. As a producer, Brian started offering on-air reporting in January 2004 and became a full-time on-air correspondent in 2006.
