Beret loves serving in her hometown, which is very close to home with her incredibly strong, yet loving family. He attended and graduated from Bethel University with a BA in Journalism with minors in Theater Arts and Media Production.
In her senior year at Bethel, Berette interned at KARE-11 in Golden Valley. He shadowed and served with MJs at KARE and gained extensive hands-on experience in their newsroom.
In addition, Leone also served as Managing Editor of The Clarion, Bethel University’s newspaper. Before taking on this leadership role in 2017, she was the Features Editor for the paper.
Leone is a native of Chaska and began her reporting career in the summer of 2016 as an intern reporter for The Chaska Herald. In her free time, you can find her drinking copious amounts of coffee, singing really loud in the newsroom, or eating popcorn.
