I’m still mad at Multi-Choice, Mnet, Africa Magic, Amstel Malta and the web designer for the terrible Africa magic website that disenfranchised me. I fought and pushed day and night, but I couldn’t register to vote for my favorite nominees. But this is not the day I fight the oligarchy that these winners forced on me. Tonight is about the winners of the AMVCA7. The biggest winner of the night was “Living In Bondage: Breaking Free” with 3,455 awards.
Here are the winners. The list contains all nominees with the marked winners (WINNERS). Funke Akindele went home with her fourth AMVCA and Swanky JKA had reason to come on stage and shout “someone says hallelujah”. Mercy Eke won the Instagram best-dressed woman while Mike took the best-dressed woman home. It was a night for former Big Brother roommates. It was a pleasant night with brilliant hosts from IK Osakioduwa and Amina Abdi Rabar, jokes from Cobhams Asuquo and electricity from 2baba itself. So much more. Summary cannot work. Words can never repeat the night. You just have to turn back the hands of time.
