Amber Smith is an American actress and former model who is best known for appearing in the second season of the TV show VH1 Celebrity Rehab, which depicted her 16-year struggle with opiate and alcohol addiction.
During her appearances in 2008 and 2009 on reality TV shows where she sought treatment from Dr. Drew Pinsky for her addiction, Amber said both of her parents had great stories with addiction. In addition, she revealed that her father died as a result of a drinking problem in the third season of Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew.
At the age of 16, Amber started modeling where she was first represented by Irene Marie Models in Miami Beach. Under this umbrella, she traveled to Paris, France, where she worked as a model across Europe for four years.
