Career of Amber Lee
Since September 2012, Amber has been working as a Meteorologist for CBS2 and KCAL9 News in Los Angeles. In July 2015, he was promoted to weekend meteorologist for CBS-owned KCBS-KCAL in Los Angeles. She was the weekend morning weatherman before her promotion. During the week, Lee continues to report.
Her first job as a reporter was at a television station in Reno. Lee then proceeded to the Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz area to report and drop anchor. She then returned to her hometown of San Francisco, where she worked as a reporter for another television station and as a part-time reporter for CNN in the San Francisco Bureau.
Lee joined KTVU in 1997 and it was a dream come true for her. He previously worked at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo and KCBY-TV in Coos Bay, Oregon. Lee also served as a reporter and supplemental meteorologist for KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico for three years before joining CBS2 in September 2012.
