Alex Whittler is an American journalist currently working as a reporter and anchor at FOX5 Atlanta. Presents the 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Made at the station in January 2020.
Whittler started school in 2008 at La Cueva High School-Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated in 2012. Later, she joined Loyola University Chicago in 2012, Loyola where she majored in political science and dance. In 2016, he graduated with a degree in journalism. He then joined the Medill Journalism School the same year and graduated in 2017 with a master’s degree.
Most importantly, she began her journalism career in Chicago. In Chicago, he worked at all but one of the city’s television newscasts, including WMA, WNG, WBBM and WLS. She had internships at Cosmopolitan magazine and the TODAY show. In addition, he continued to write freelance articles for TODAY.com, Cosmopolitan, and NBCNews.com.
Most recently, he anchored and reported in Richmond, Virginia. Covered breaking news. That was from the mass shooting in Virginia Beach to near record breaking snowfall. It also covered the deadly tornadoes spawned by Hurricane Florence. When she is off duty, she looks for ways to get involved in the community. He speaks to students and organizes charity events.
