Alan Frio is an American journalist currently working for WSMV-TV Nashville, Tennessee as a reporter and anchor for the 4 pm newscast. the weekends. He used to present Channel 4’s morning show, News 4 Today, and Noon News before being promoted to weekend news presenter. Frio is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia. He graduated with a degree in Communications.
After graduation, he joined WCAU-TV CBS station in Philadelphia. He worked here as an anchor and reporter for the flagship evening newscast from 1982 to 1984. Later, in 2004 he joined WSMV as an anchor and reporter. He is currently the station’s weekend anchor at 4pm.
