Thomas Drayton is an American television personality who currently serves as co-host of Good Day Philadelphia on Fox 29, 4-6 am. New York, Denver, Sacramento, Anchorage and Colorado Springs. Previously, he worked at Fox 29 News at Five and Fox News at Ten during in the period 2008-2013.
Drayton spent part of his childhood in the Delaware Valley, where he attended Marcus Newcomb High School in Pemberton Township.
Thanks to his excellent work he has received many awards and distinctions. To name just the most notable on the list, we have: National Association of Broadcasters Awards for Outstanding News Anchor, Outstanding News Producer and Outstanding Investigative Reporting.
Other honors include National Association of Black Journalists Awards, Associated Press Recognition for local and national reporting, and NAACP Community Recognition and Commitment. Additionally, Thomas has received thirteen Emmy nominations.
Through his collaboration with various NP Os (Non-Profit Organisations), Thomas supports various projects, including working closely with families in need and people living with HIV/Aids. So far, he has established three academic scholarships for less fortunate children in the community.
Earlier, Drayton served as Sacramento Vice President for the National Academy of Arts and Sciences. In this position, he initiated an additional academic scholarship for minority students interested in careers in broadcasting.
