Joshua Fidrmuc was born on February 20, 1996 in Manchester, England. He comes from a middle class family and grew up with a twin sister. He and his family moved to Australia to seek a better life for the future.
A student at St Augustine’s College in Cairns, Australia, Joshua was an average student who took pride in his conduct and spent his time outside of school working on his next big idea.
Beginning of entrepreneurship
Joshua studied for an advanced degree in financial planning which landed him a consulting job with one of the big 4 consulting firms. Joshua’s entrepreneurial spirit started when he was young, he launched a successful e-commerce jewelry brand which ran for over a year and was endorsed by influential people at the time.
Joshua then joined the army and spent more than 5 years in the amphibious unit of the Australian army. Where he spent time on national and international engagements with allies. Leaving the military was a decision Joshua made to pursue his dream of working in corporate finance. But deep down, he knew his innovation and entrepreneurial spirit would keep him working towards building the next solution to real-world problems.
