DJ Bean Biography
DJ Bean is an American journalist who is currently working as a sports journalist at NBC Sports Boston since joining the station in 2016. Bean joins NBC Sports Boston after six years covering the Bruins and NFL for WEEL.
Bean attended the University of New Hampshire where he graduated in the class of 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. While still in school, he got his first internship as a production intern at 890 ESPN from May 2008 to August 2008. He then landed his second internship at Boston Metro where he served for 4 months but left in August 2009.
In May 2010, he joined Comcast Sportsnet New England. He has been working here as an Associate Producer. To date, he has been here for a period of 11 years and 6 months. He also works at WEEI.com. Here he works as the site’s Bruins Beat Writer and Columnist. Additionally, he joined the site in September of 2009 and has been there ever since.
