Early Life & Education
Davide was born in Rome, Italy, in 1995 and grew up Italian through and through — a point he made constantly on Love Island.
He earned a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of L’Aquila, then moved to England and completed a Master’s in Finance and Banking at the University of Salford in Manchester.
Career Journey
Finance Years in Manchester
Before TV, Davide worked in finance and sales: accounts assistant at Bridgewater Finance Group (2020), junior financial manager at Philips Trust Corporation (2021), sales roles in nightlife, and manager at S Deluxe Shisha in Manchester from July 2021.
Love Island Win (2022)
He entered the Love Island villa in June 2022 as a bombshell, saying he wanted to build something real. His slow-burn romance with Turkish-English actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu — including the famous hiding-and-kissing terrace scene — made them the show’s most-watched couple. They were crowned winners of series 8 in August 2022, beating Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.
TV and Business After the Villa (2022–2024)
The pair landed their own ITV2 travel show, Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings (2023), visiting Italy and Turkey to meet each other’s families. Davide signed brand deals in fashion and fitness, grew his Instagram past two million, and launched business ventures.
The Split and Life After (2023–2026)
Davide and Ekin-Su split in June 2023, reunited that August, then split for good in January 2024. Since then he has kept a lower profile, focusing on fitness, business, and selective brand work, while Ekin-Su moved on to more reality shows.
