His TV Journey started in 2010, with an American crime drama TV series, The Glades, which then led to a successful debut for him. After achieving success in his acting debut, he made his second television appearance as a main cast member in the sitcom Are We There Yet?.
Coy then played the lead role of Marcus Barnes in the educational children’s television series “The Electric Company”, which was a commercial success. He stepped up his television acting playing the role of Troy Dixon in the Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza sitcom Bella and the Bulldogs.
