Elizabeth Mowins is a renowned American sports commentator and play-by-play announcer for ESPN, CBS and Sports Network. In 2021, she became the first woman to call play-by-play for an NBA game on network television. In addition, Mowin joined ESPN in 1994 and has worked for the network ever since. Previously, she served for three years as sports director and news anchor for WXHC-FM radio in Homer, New York.
