Biography of Ben Fordham
Ben Fordham is an Australian journalist who currently works as a sports reporter and hosts Ben Fordham Live on Sydney’s 2GB radio station. His career began on Sydney’s 2UE radio station. While here he won a Walkley Award for his 1997 Thredbo landslide.
In 1998 he moved to television and his first job was at Sky News Australia as a reporter and presenter. Within a few years, he joined the Nine Network. He has worked on the station’s news programs, including 60 Minutes, A Current Affair, Nine News and Today. He completed Stuart Bocking at 2UE Nights in the summer of 2008 and 2009. Fordham also completed Ray Hadley with 2 GB in the summer of 2009 and 2010.
In 2010 he joined Nine News and Today as a reporter. Fordham became the sports presenter for Today, replacing Camero Williams in January 2011. At the same time, he joined 2GB, replacing Jason Morrison on Sydney Live. However, he announced in March 2014 that he would leave Today at the end of the year to focus on his radio career.
