Kim Kardashian, Mila Kunis among others do not give Christmas gifts to their children for this reason
Most likely, many are in a hurry for Christmas gifts for the family, however, some celebrities preferred to avoid this stress and better teach their children a good lesson.
Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Drew Barrymore have shared that in recent years they have tried to focus on the really important things in life, rather than big gifts.
In 2017, Kim revealed that she and then-husband Kanye West were postponing Christmas shopping. “We don’t do freebies,” she told Seduce. “[Kanye and I]
talking about it all the time, not overdoing it and trying to be as grounded and whole as possible.” Kim said at the time that she didn’t like gifts.
Also that same year, Mila told Entertainment Tonight that she and her husband Ashton said they would not give gifts while her children were young. ‘Our tradition is not gifts for children. We are instituting it this year because when children are [under] a year, it doesn’t really matter,” Mila said.
Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two years old and it was too much. We didn’t give him anything, it was the grandparents,” he continued. The child no longer appreciates the only gift. They don’t even know what they are waiting for; They just expect things.”
And she added:
We told our parents, “We beg you: if you have to give him something, he chooses a gift. Alternatively, we would like to donate to charity, children’s hospital or a pet [or] whatever. All that you want. This is our new tradition.”
Drew Barrymore recently talked about Christmas gifts. “I don’t give them presents, which I think at their age they don’t like, but I tell them, ‘I think the place and the pictures and the experience will be remembered and that’s what I want to offer you,'” she said.
