Sandy Miller is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist who currently serves as a news anchor and reporter for FOX 2 KTVI News Detroit. Previously, she served as a news anchor and reporter for KPLR News from 1995 to 1998. She gained even greater fame and experience working as a news anchor and television anchor for Anheuser-Busch. Miller usually anchors FOX 2’s morning and evening newscasts.
Miller was born and raised in the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri, USA. She finished high school in her hometown. From there, he enrolled at Missouri State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media with a major in journalism and communications. She won the Miss Missouri beauty pageant in 1984 while in college.
Miller began her career working as a news reporter and anchor at STIHL News for over ten years. There he was able to cover news live from various places and cities in the United States. Miller left STIHL and joined KPLR News as an evening anchor. Primarily anchoring the 9pm newscasts each day, Miller also spent three years working as the Director of Marketing at Klar Communications before joining KPLR News. As such, she curated her own news coverage at KPLR. Sandy left KPLR in 1998. and joined KTVI News in 2002 as a news anchor and reporter. During her vacation, Sandy enjoys traveling to Los Angeles, New York, Hawaii, and DC.
