Biography of Samantha Mohr
Samantha Mohr is an American meteorologist and television personality serving in Atlanta, Georgia at 11alive-TV as a weather forecaster. Her first modeling competition was at the suggestion of a fellow UGA student. She won the title of Miss Georgia in 1985. Samantha also in 1986 competed for the title of Miss America.
After being crowned Miss Georgia in 1985, she used her scholarships in Houston to pursue a degree in meteorology. She won the title of Miss Columbus in 1985 and this win made her eligible in June 1985 to compete in the Miss Georgia pageant which she won and was crowned Miss Georgia.
After her win, she won more than $3,500 in scholarship money and also other prizes from the state competition. As Miss Georgia, her activities were mainly in all public appearances of the state of Georgia. Samantha represented Georgia at the 1986 Miss America pageant held in Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985.
