Prince Harry, Meghan Markle ‘Cannot Expect Anything But’ King Charles’ Silence

Experts are of the opinion that King Charles cannot be held responsible for his silence regarding the car chase incident involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Shedding some light on the matter, royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti provided insight during an open interview with Fox News Digital. Initially, he defended King Charles against criticism for remaining silent on the New York car chase issue.

Speaking to digital media, Mr Sacerdoti said: ‘I don’t think the palace should get involved in this matter.

This is mainly because “Harry and Meghan have stepped down from their roles in the Royal Family and in the UK”. Therefore, it can be assumed that “the responsibility for their own safety in America rests with them”.

This statement was made in response to the car chase incident in New York, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, accompanied by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, found themselves in a dangerous situation due to a group of very aggressive paparazzi.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in New York to attend the Women of Vision Awards at the time.

Their spokesperson issued a statement following the intense media coverage, expressing concern over the incident: “This protracted chase, which lasted over two hours, resulted in numerous close calls involving other drivers, pedestrians and two NYPD officers.”

The statement further underlined the importance of prioritizing security over the public interest, condemning the dissemination of images obtained by intrusive and dangerous means.
