Actress Keira Knightley has said she will no longer strip naked on screen as she is a mother in her 30s.
“I was comfortable earlier with more n-dity than I am now. I had a kid, I’m in my thirties, I’m very happy with my body. But I don’t think I have need to get it out that much more,” Knightly told The Times.
“It was a choice. I have to choose the body double. It’s an interesting selection process! It’s kind of like, ‘It’s kinda like you, only better. She’s got a nice body, so she can do that’…then I get final edit approval,” the actress, who is married to musician James Righton, added.
She had earlier said she suffered from depression at the age of 22 after “losing confidence” in herself following criticism of her career,
The actress rose to fame as a teenager with roles in films such as ‘Bend It Like Beckham’, ‘Love Actually’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. eventually led her to suffer a nervous breakdown when she was only 22 years old.
