Lisa Argen career
In 1995, he first joined ABC7 News KGO-TV. Argen welcomed the June fog and her most exciting moment was the December 1995 windstorm that hit the Bay Area. She returned to the station in 2002 and has been there ever since as a meteorologist and anchor.
She began her journalism career in Knoxville, Tennessee, working for WBIR-TV as a weather forecaster from 1991 to 1993. While there, Lisa received the American Meteorological Society’s Weather Forecasting Seal of Approval. Argen moved to WFLD in Chicago where she served for two years as a meteorologist.
Lisa worked as a weather forecaster at KRON station for 5 years before taking a two year hiatus and in Hawaii with her family. Additionally, Argen took the hiatus to focus more on raising her growing family. However, before she developed a case of island fever, she was given the opportunity to return home and join the excellent weather team at KGO-TV.
