After she distanced herself from the deadly Manson family, the affidavit said she changed her last name to “Chioschios” to hide her identity.

At Manson’s trial from 1970 to 1971, Kasabian volunteered to serve as a key prosecution witness in exchange for immunity after participating in the “Two Nights of Riot” in Los Angeles, California, in August 1969, when Manson’s cult killed seven people.

What was the Linda Kasabian case? Testimony was questioned

Xabian said she got out of the car after hearing “terrible crying” from the victims. “I started running towards the house, hoping they would stop. Most of the population is unaware that they are being watched. “I begged them to stop.”

As Kasabian approached the house from the driveway, he confronted Frykowski, who was running out the front door.

Xabian stated, “There was a man just coming out the door, and he had blood all over his face, and he was standing by a pillar, and we looked into each other’s eyes for a moment, and I said, ‘Oh, God, I’m so sorry.’

Just put an end to it.’ But then he just collapsed into the woods.” Then Watson repeatedly stabbed Frykowski and hit him in the head with the butt of a rifle.

Xabian tried to stop the murders by reporting that she heard “someone coming” to the Tate property, but Atkins claimed it was “too late”.

According to Watson and Atkins, Kasabian stood still in the front yard, terrified as her friends committed murder.

Xabian testified that while still in shock, she ran to her car, started it and contemplated driving away to get help, but then grew concerned about her daughter at Spahn Farm.

Who were Linda Kasabian’s parents? A family was interrogated

Linda Darlene Drouin grew up in Milford, New Hampshire, in the New England area. She was born June 21, 1949 in Biddeford, Maine.

Her father, Rosier Drouin, was a construction worker of French-Canadian descent. Joyce Taylor, her mother, was a stay-at-home mom.

In their working class household they suffered financially. Her parents often clashed, and her father finally left when she was young.

Her parents remarried soon after, and her father moved to Miami, Florida. Her mother, Joyce, stated that with so many young children and stepchildren to care for, she could not provide the attention required for her teenage daughter.

“I didn’t have time to hear about her problems. Most of what happened to Linda is my fault,” she admitted.
