The star was hit by cheating rumors when his wife was heavily pregnant
Kevin Hart admitted to cheating on his then-pregnant wife in a candid new interview.
The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor sparked cheating rumors a few months ago when he shared a video telling fans about an alleged extortion attempt for a “sexually provocative” video with another woman.
Without ever confirming that he cheated, the video also included a creeping apology to his wife Eniko Parrish.
Addressing the scandal that has shocked his fans, he told Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club on Thursday: “I’m guilty no matter how it happened and what was involved, the shit I can’t not talk, I’m guilty. I’m wrong.
“It’s beyond irresponsibility. There is no way around this. This is Kevin Hart at his dumbest moment. It’s not the best hour of my life. That being said, you make your bed, you lie in it.
Hart, who welcomed son Kenzo Kash three weeks ago, said he finally confessed to his wife Eniko and hoped she could forgive him.
“You don’t mean to mess up. You mess up, and then you go ‘Oh shit, I messed up’… I’m going to go home, I’m going to talk about it, I’m going make my wife fully aware of what is going on in the situation I am putting us in now.
“And I hope she has a heart where she can forgive me and understand that this isn’t going to be a recurring thing and allow me to recover from my fucking huge mistake.
“That’s what I’m trying to do not just as a man, but also teaching my son a lesson.”
He also spoke to the fan radio show suggesting the whole incident was Eniko’s fault after some claimed she was part of the reason Kevin’s marriage to the ex-wife Torrei Hart had failed.
“When people try to put that on [Eniko] like calling it a domestic tow truck, it got to me and I had to breathe,” the actor continued.
