Idris Elba reveals a lot on EW’s cover this week, but he still kept some things under wraps. Until his The Mountain Between Us co-star Kate Winslet revealed her predilection for feet on The Graham Norton Show.
The two share a love scene in the film, and during filming, Winslet made the surprising discovery of her partner’s foot fetish.
While filming the scene in question, Elba asked Winslet to “keep your socks on.” Winslet, who admits she has “really, really big feet”, was a little offended as you might expect. She assumed that her partner didn’t want to see her feet because he didn’t like the appendix in general and was afraid that his were particularly hideous.
“It’s the opposite, ladies and gentlemen,” Winslet announced. “Idris loves feet.”
So while you’re enjoying this week’s edition of EW, kick off your shoes and put your feet up in honor of Idris.
