Gigi Hadid breaks down in tears as she shares her painful story. Gigi Hadid couldn’t control her emotions while sharing her trauma in a new interview with a fashion magazine, saying tennis legend Serena Williams helped ease the pain.
Bella Hadid’s older sister, Gigi, who will appear on the March 2023 cover of Ellen magazine, broke down in tears when asked about the handling of fame, replying, “I feel emotional in thinking about it.”
The 27-year-old model’s eyes filled with tears when she spoke about being a public figure at one point during her interview: “What doesn’t the world know about me? I don’t. I get emotional [thinking about it]. I think I’m someone you have to be in front of to experience that.”
The blonde bombshell, who shares her only child, baby Khai, with One Direction vet Zayn Malik continued, “It’s not hard. It’s not a complaint. It’s more than in my work, we see a lot of clichés.”
Gigi, while wiping away her tears, added: “No it’s okay. Apparently I needed to say it. There are a lot of snapshots and very quick moments where, again, there is no not much context given.”
She told the magazine’s associate editor, Adrienne Gaffney, that she and her younger sister Bella were in therapy. “There are different things that we’re both probably dealing with from different sides, but there’s always going to be something that will come together.”
‘Serena once said to me, “Nothing stays in the press longer than three weeks.” You may feel like your life is ending,” Hadid noted.
“I think it’s about not taking yourself seriously and saying, ‘When I’m on my deathbed, I won’t remember that awkward interview from when I was 19. “”
The model looked smashing as she showed off her toned midriff in a crop top and matching pants during the styling session for the maazin.
Gigi is also beginning a new role as co-host of Netflix reality show Next In Fashion, alongside Tan France, with season two debuting next month.
