Gaurav began his career as a publicist at Young & Rubicam Advertising I’ve spent a decade in New York on brands such as Kraft, Sony, Heinz, Taj Hotels, Singapore Tourism, AT & T, among others. He then moved to LVMH has been working with MoëtHennessy India for a decade, leading their champagne and spirits category, making Moët & Chandon and Hennessy the market leaders. He also launched Chandon, a sparkling wine targeting the young Indian millennium.

He then headed to South Asia during Sotheby’sone of the most prestigious auction houses in the world and was the driving force behind their first auction in India. In charge of setting up, developing a growth strategy and maintaining the vitality of the company, he has provided advice and contributed to the development of companies at the highest level of collectors of the company.

Appointed on the Power List of the luxury industry, He sits on many industry and non-profit management boards, including the Confederation of Indian Industry for Art and Culture. As a member of the first generation of luxury marketers in India, Gaurav is an opinion leader and has contributed through the media, including: The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, CNN, The Mint, Economic Times, The Times of India, The Hindu, Forbes, Vogue and Architectural Summary among others. He lectures on the construction of luxury brands and “the art of collecting”.
