Hollywood beauty opens up about pubic hair, acne and going under the knife in her new lifestyle guide The Body Book
Cameron Diaz has confessed she regretted having Botox after having a bad reaction to plastic surgery.
The stunning 41-year-old actress has admitted her face has changed “so strangely” that she would rather see her face age naturally.
Speaking openly about undergoing the cosmetic procedure to improve her appearance, she said: “I tried [Botox] before, where it was like a tiny little touch of something.”
“It changed my face in such a weird way that I thought, ‘No, I don’t want to be like that’ – I’d rather see my face age than a face that doesn’t belong to me at all,” she added to ET Online.
Diaz – who is promoting her new lifestyle guide The Body Book – said she was happy with her laugh lines and currently saw no point in having surgery.
“I love it, I don’t mind. It’s like, ‘Guess what that means, I’ve been smiling my whole life.’ I love life. I’m happy. I don’t have a problem with it,” she said.
Her honesty is refreshing – as much as it is surprising – after discussing her views on pubic hair in detail, telling readers that her vagina is fully clothed with lovely drapes.
And now the beautiful Hollywood actress has opened up about her battle with acne that took her years to master.
“It was embarrassing, and I did everything I could to make it go away,” she explained.
“I tried to cover it up with makeup. I tried to get rid of it with medication: oral, topical, even the harshest prescriptions. Nothing helped for a very long time.
“It was really hard to cover them for the cameras. It was awkward, embarrassing and frustrating, and I always felt really bad about myself.”
Diaz’s book is now out as fans compare it to Gwynneth Paltrow’s new winter detox plan – which sounds quite alarming.
The 300 calorie a day diet has come under fire from nutritionists who criticized the diet for its drastic measures.
The other half of Chris Martin suggests hot lemon water for breakfast followed by a lean lunch of lentil and lemon soup.
Winter Warmer Soup is described as a “clear vegan broth”. Delicious.
