Babita Sharma Career
Babita began her career at BBC Radio Wales and Thames Valley Television. She moved to Dubai where she worked as a radio presenter for Channel 4 FM and Ajman TV, hosting a weekly music show.
He later moved to the BBC South Today newsroom in Southampton, where he covered and produced stories. In 2007, she joined BBC Spotlight Channel Islands as a video journalist and evening news presenter.
He joined the BBC News Channel in 2008 having previously presented Your Money. Babita took on the lead business role in 2009 and later moved to the BBC News Channel and BBC World News in her current full-time presenting role.
She was a live presenter for the BBC World News program Newsday from the main Broadcasting Center in London, which began broadcasting from its new studios on 31 July 2015, with Rico Hizon taking over the main broadcasting role from Singapore.
