Algernong Allen is an American businessman, real estate agent, and community activist who is famous for being the husband of Ann-Marie Green, a New York-based anchor and reporter. Allen is currently an Associate Realtor for Keller Williams Philly the Greater Philadelphia Area since February 2018.
Algernong is a proud graduate of Hampton University where he received his BA in Finance, General in 1994. He also graduated from New York University in 2017 with a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate.
After school, Allen joined GlaxoSmithKline in April 1998 as an IT Infrastructure Consultant. In January 2003 he founded Kemlon Marketing LLC. After 6 years with his own venture, Allen also founded GBLS LLC in January 2003 where he worked as a real estate developer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit, Algernong founded Elena’s Sout, a restaurant located at 4912 Baltimore Avenue, Philadelphia, 19143. Between July 2013 and May 2014, Allen was the Democratic candidate for District 188 of the Pennsylvania House of Pennsylvania.
Algernong joined WPEB 88.1 FM at 541 52nd Street as a radio host. After spending a year at the station, he moved on to work as a real estate salesman at Exit Benchmark and Sherman Toppin. Additionally, Allen served as a broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. At the same time, he worked as a Real Estate Sales Professional for RealtyMark in Marlton, New Jersey.
