Alejandro Fernandez is a Mexican singer and the son of icon Vicente Fernandez. He established himself as a ranchero singer during the 1990s, when his self-titled album was nominated for Regional Mexican Album of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards in 1993. Four years later, he made his Latin pop debut with the chart-topping Me Estoy Enamorando.
Ever since Alejandro has topped the Mexican charts. Nine of his albums have reached number one on the Latin Pop charts, while another 11 have entered the US Top 200.
