“I’m still so emotional”

Adele has revealed she is undergoing therapy again to cope with the enormity of her Las Vegas residency, having already had “five sessions a day” during her divorce.

The Hello singer is buzzing with her Weekends With Adele concert series in Vegas, which launched last month after a 10-month delay due to production issues. Until March, Adele, 34, will perform every Friday and Saturday at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

It’s no secret that live performances have been difficult for the singer, as she’s been open about stage fright before.

Adele has now shared that she is speaking to a therapist again for the first time since having sessions during her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019.

She started crying, adding, “And my whole therapy session this week was really interesting. It was about those shows. I’m still so emotional. I love making music, but there’s something about playing live that terrifies me and fills me with dread.

‘That’s why I’m not a big touring artist. I did it last time to prove I could do it. But this experience of being in a room of this size, I think I could be a living artist for the rest of my life.
