Philip Serrell is an English auctioneer, antiques expert and television presenter best known for various BBC antique programs. He changed his career, from teacher to auctioneer, working in the local livestock trade until he qualified as a certified surveyor in 1988, specializing in fine arts and antiques.
Philip currently owns an auction and appraisal company with offices in Worcester and a sales room in Great Malvern. He is also a regular contributor to the BBC Bargain Hunt and Flog It! and has also made a number of appearances on ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal.
Serell starred in other BBC Antiques Road Trip series and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth. In addition, he appeared regularly on local BBC radio and has written a column every two times for the Worcester News.
