Harvest's senior pastor, Greg Laurie, paid tribute to Wilson through a blog post. He wrote,
"It is with the deepest sadness and shock that I have to report that Jarrid Wilson went to be with the Lord last night.
At a time like this, there are simply no words.
The Bible says: "There is a time to cry." This is certainly that moment.
Jarrid is survived by his wife, Juli, their two children, Finch and Denham, his mother, his father and his brothers.
Jarrid loved the Lord and had a servant's heart.
He was vibrant, positive and was always serving and helping others.
Jarrid also repeatedly dealt with depression and was very open about his continuing struggles.
I wanted to help especially those who were dealing with suicidal thoughts.
Tragically, Jarrid took his own life.
Jarrid joined us as an associate pastor at Harvest 18 months ago and had spoken many times about this same mental health problem.
Jarrid and his wife, Juli, founded an outreach program to help people with depression and suicidal thoughts called "Hymn of Hope."
Sometimes people may think that as pastors or spiritual leaders we are somehow above the pain and struggles of ordinary people. We are the ones who are supposed to have all the answers. But we do not.
At the end of the day, pastors are just people who need to approach God for their help and strength, every day.
Over the years, I discovered that people talk about what they struggle with the most.
A dark moment in the life of a Christian cannot undo what Christ did for us on the cross.
Romans reminds us that "nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:39).
At times like this, we must remember that, as Christians, we don't live on explanations but on promises. We turn to what we know, not what we don't know. We know that Jarrid put his faith in Jesus Christ and we also know that he is now in heaven.
We keep the promise of Revelation 21: 4 that reminds us that in Heaven there is no more sadness, suffering or death.
Please keep Juli and Jarrid's family in prayer.

Why did Jarrid Wilson kill himself?
Jarrid Wilson's widow, Julianne Wilson, paid an emotional tribute to her late husband on social media. He posted his family photos on his Instagram and wrote:
"My loving, generous, kind, encouraging, handsome, hilarious, her husband's shirt on his back went to be with Jesus late last night.
No more pain, my jerry, no more fighting. You are complete and finally you are free. Suicide and depression fed you with the worst lies, but you knew the truth of Jesus and I know that you are at his side right now.
I love you forever, Thomas Jarrid Wilson, but I have to say that you're gone has completely torn my heart. You loved me and our children without rest and I am eternally grateful to have you as husband and father of our children.
You are my forever and I will continue to let other people know the hope in Jesus you found and of which you spoke so boldly.
Suicide does not have the last word. I will not leave it. You always said ' Hope has the last word. Jesus receives the last word & # 39 ;. The work of his life has brought thousands to the feet of Jesus and his courage to tell others about his fight against anxiety and depression has helped many other people feel they are not alone. YOU ARE A HIMNO OF HOPE for all, baby, and I will do my best to continue your legacy of love until my last breath.

Who is Julianne Wilson, pastor husband and mental health advocate Jarrid Wilson?
Jarrid Wilson was born on September 18, 1998 in Inland Empire, Calfornia in the United States. His birth name was Thomas Jarrid Wilson. It belonged to the white-Caucasian ethnicity. He was a Christian by faith. As for his academic training, he attended Liberty University and Hope International University.
He was a church leader who worked as an associate pastor at Megachurch Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California. He was open about his battle with depression. He frequently publishes about his mental problems in his social networks, blogs and his books. At the beginning of August 2019, he wrote on his social networks: "I am a Christian who also struggles with depression. This exists and it is okay to admit it." As for his personal life, Jarrid Wilson was a married man. He was married to Julianne Wilson. The couple was tied on April 27, 2013. The couple was blessed with two children, Denham and Finch.
