List of nominations for the 2019 Emmy Awards: Game of Thrones with the most nominations (14), followed by When They See Us (11) and Barry (9)

The wait for the 71 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations it's over. Emmy has announced his nominations for its 71st edition. Comedian and actors, Ken JeongY D ' Arcy Carden announced the nominations for this year on July 16, 2019. Emmy will honor the best television programming in the United States in different categories. Game of Thrones, the fantasy drama series that ended this year after 8 seasons, led the nominations with fourteen nominations in drama, followed by When They See Us with 11 nominations in limited / film categories and Barry with 9 nominations in comedy . Game of Thrones also set the new record for most nominations in the same year with 32. In doing so, Game of Thrones broke the 25-year record previously held by the NYPD Blue, which had 26 nominations in 1994. Other top nominees of different categories are Barry, Escape in Dannemora, Fosse / Verdon, The wonderful Mrs. Maisel, Chernobyl, Fleabag, Killing Eve, This Is Us, Veep, Better Call Saul and Ozark among others.

Nominations came from all television programs from June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019. HBO led the nomination in numbers, followed by Netflix and Amazon, among others. Whether or not the most popular drama series Game of Thrones dominates the Emmys this year, we'll have to wait until September 2019. The ceremony is scheduled for September 22, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony will be broadcast by Fox. We wish the best wishes to all the nominees, nominated to one of the most prestigious honors of the television industry.
